I've just completed my degree in Broadcasting, and one of my final projects to was to talk about the principles of editing. Half of my compare and contrast was just showing the cuts from the Rock in Rio 2001 DVD vs. Flight 666 performances. I got an A :P

It'll probably be the usual maiden returning to America tour, y'know  a few shows on the east coast, maybe one in the midwest or texas, and Los Angeles, and then probably down south of the border.

it's funny, I hear a lot of people comparing this album to AMOLAD, which to me sounds nothing like TFF. In my opinion, it's pretty clear that BNW-AMOLAD is distinct from TFF, but maybe people are just talking about song and album length.

Scott Travis is all over that entire album, except for Touch of Evil. Just because he climaxed on the intro to painkiller doesn't mean he hasn't kicked severe amounts of ass since then. But yes, I do agree to an extent (RACER X KICK ASS)

Well the thing about Nicko is that he has such a great feel for the music that Maiden produces. It's not like in Judas Priest who make much more straightforward songs, and thus got a serious upgrade when Scott Travis went behind the kit.

I dunno I feel like the Clansman is more of a war song than Alexander for sure or even Invaders.

Yes, absolutely. My taste in music has matured, and Maiden have put out albums that suit where I am with my taste. If I could change anything about this era at all, would be a stronger single on AMOLAD, which would have shut all of the haters up forever. Not that I don't like Breeg or Different...

I love this song, and it's my 2nd favorite on the album (behind Isle of Avalon) but really hurts this one, moreso than probably any other song on the album... I feel like Bruce is trying to fit too many words into too small of a place at times. I mean it's not like Isle isn't wordy either, but...
