I like the Mothers of Invention material the best. Here are my favorite Zappa albums with the Mothers: 'Freak Out' - a very fun album with lots of short, catchy songs that lampoon a lot of 60s musical sounds. 'Absolutely Free' - More of a challenging listen.  Full of absurd, nonsensical lyrics...

I don't remember.  :lol: I agree that it's likely untrue and a long shot at best, but it's a really fun "what if" scenario to think about.

Bruce by a long shot. Not taking anything away from Blaze, but as far as professional singers in the metal world go, I think he is quite average.

Actually, to be honest I have never heard a Lady Gaga song before.  I like to see Maiden in the mainstream press.

I like to joke around and say the 90s never happened, etc.  But in all seriousness I like all of Maiden's albums... it's just that the 80s output is absolutely stellar, the 2000s are arguably as great (possibly better?), and the 90s albums, while very good (and sometimes great), are not "Maiden...

I am saying that the 90s were the worst decade to be a Maiden fan. And the only way I can look back on the 90s with any bit of happiness is to imagine that the X Factor and Virtual XI are Steve Harris solo projects... ...I am only half kidding.

The difeence is that nobody liked Hussein's insane kids. But some people liked Bin Laden. And nothing satisfies conspiracy nuts. Any officially-released photos would be quickly disregarded as "fakes" by the tin foil hat brigade anyway.
