Interest how often H chops and changes his guitars - wonder if the Hooligan will be back for another show - usually I think 'artwork' guitars are cheesy but I like the Hooligan one - although it was odd that he used it on TFP tour.
Something nobody really ever mentions is the Ibanez Roadstar H...
Nearly as bad as the drummer that used to play with Vince Neil on his solo shows - Zoltan Chaney - sure it's entertainment value but in all honestly it gets very fucking tiring after 30 seconds of it.
I think Kev's first three albums with Maiden were great, BNW, DOD and AMOLAD. They sound like a like a live band, but sonically the sound is still tight and punchy. Flight 666 was mixed by Kevin too and it is a great sounding live album.. But TFF, BOS and Senjutsu are all just a bit dry and...

Ironic that in LOTB tour with Where Eagles Dare, and probably previous tours, they reduce the pre-solo section quite a bit compared to the studio version (I'm sure of it anyway...). WED is quite a word song for Bruce and high too.. But they've reduced his breather time!
I'm sorry but have you ever listened to SSOASS studio version? haha!
In all fairness it's likely the middle section has extended out a bit live purely out of them not really knowing when to come back in .. But the studio version does have 2.5 minutes roughly of it
I agree - I felt like moving to screens was a good indicator that they'll be doing more tours with the screens - and while within 1 tour leg it might be difficult to change a song (or they feel it best to keep the same setlist for fans' sake), they would easily be able to change songs and have...
I don't know if 'retired for good' is necessarily accurate - I think Davey just wanted to try it out with a different pickup configuration, but decided to bring the other HSH strats instead. For all we know, this has been changed back to original spec' and is just waiting to come out on the next...
I think it would also look good as it is in the image, but if there was way more wear and tear - would make it look more 'hot rodded'. Although I think the middle pickup being white would still be weird. If the middle PU was black, that might be better
Still, like you say - interesting to know...
Oh I think the shape of the neck would be a copy for sure, Davey would have his preference for that. I just mean maybe the material and the feel of it. As far as I can tell, its unfinished (or maybe a satin finish).
Maybe - does he not have another white one out as well? I mean yes it is sort...
I don't know if I'd look that far into it to be honest. It has a walnut neck, so just an easy way to differentiate which guitar is which.. and for Colin, which guitar for which song on the setlist. I'd like to think they would come up with a more imaginative name than Walnut haha
fun fact - I...
something interesting I noticed just now. I thought the thumbwheel adjustment was introduced initially on just Adrian's green Jackson in 2015-2016, and then eventually on his US production models (and potentially the SDX - I've seen a photo of an SDX with thumbwheel).
But just saw this while...
Yeah from what I gather the main heads send to the cabs on stage, which probably go to FOH, as well as maybe a ISO cab going to FOH - for Pooch so he can dial in his own effects for FOH. And separate to that, there is the IEM mix signals with stereo delays and so on, that are only for H's ears...
