NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

It's an opinion, not a factual statement. The clue is in the phrase 'I think.' If I say I think red flowers are more beautiful than yellow ones, are you going to ask me for evidence, too?

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

That's a pretty naive and idealistic view that doesn't align with reality. Putting you on my ignore list for know since you are spamming a NPFTD thread with this nonsense. Seems like a ridiculous idea to be honest. And I love Blaze, saw him perform 7 songs of Virtual XI last year.

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

I really disagree with that. I think Iron Maiden fans are sophisticated and discerning when it comes to the setlist. Not many bands can challenge their fans like Maiden does with each new album. A Matter of Life and Death was played in its entirety, and The Book of Souls took up a significant...

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

You should help Maiden with their setlist strategy then! I'm sure "as long as we don't get booed of the stage we can play anything" will go down great in the Maiden board room.

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

Seems like you are due for a Maiden history lesson. In 1998, Maiden attempted to do a Blaze Bayley-era focused set, but both Don’t Look to the Eyes of a Stranger and Fortunes of War were dropped after just a week of touring. Blood on the World’s Hands and The Aftermath were played once but...

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

I'm sure theres a reason why BNW songs are revisited more often than NP and VXI. But I would also perfer NP and VXI stuff over the best of tour coming this summer.

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

Having 8 out of 10 BNW songs in the set can not really be compared to having 7 out of 8 songs of VXI in the set lol. There are better and there are worse albums to base a tour on, and even if I personally like No Prayer and Virtual XI they are no where near AMOLAD, BNW and TBOS.

No Prayer On The Road: The Dissection

Janick has and had a 80's look, but he fitted into the 90's Maiden!

Which b-sides show would you like to see officially released?

Yes, a great recording. The b-sides were overdubbed and I'm sure they did it with the full thing because Blaze messed up a few lyrics that night!

I remember visiting St Nicks and Cart & Horses back in 2009. Very cool read!

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

In hindsight, it's crazy to think that at times, Maiden played six songs from No Prayer for the Dying live, while other times, they played seven songs from Virtual XI.

The Oval 1998 - the longest Iron Maiden show ever

Some critics claim that by 1998, Iron Maiden was past their prime, citing that they were out of breath and no longer at their best. However, they proved the naysayers wrong by delivering their longest performance ever that year. On April 22, 1998, they kicked off the Virtual XI World Tour with a...

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

I absolutely love this album. It's such a shame it didn't get more exposure outside of the 1990-1993 setlists. It was incredible to hear some of it again during 'Give Me Ed 'Til I'm Dead' in 2003—the intro and the singalong were amazing. That tour was fantastic, and it really brought the songs...

    Adrian Smith

Great second single. Both Black Light and White Noise has to be in a setlist in future tours. I know Wasted Years has been in the set for a while, but the Smith/Kotzen material is so strong so they could do a more obscure Maiden song. Gangland?
