FTGGOG and Legacy clicked instantly for me and I still listen to those two tracks all the time. I think the hooks in the Parchment, HoE are a little more complex and might take time to settle. Let's revisit this during #18 :cheers:

I feel the same about the Time Machine. The song could have easily started from the main riff on distortion guitar

Agreed. My top 6 in Senjutsu: Senjutsu, Stratego, TWOTW, Days of Future Past, The Parchment, HoE Vs My top 6 in TBOS Book of Souls, If Eternity Should Fail, The Great Unknown, TRATB, Empire Overall Senjutsu feels much stronger even after excluding The Darkest Hour and The Time Machine. IMO...

You misunderstood me, Angel and the Gambler hasn't made it out of the "future grower" list alongside Educated Fool and Don't look to the eyes of a stranger

Track by track review so far... Senjutsu: an absolute beast of a song. One of the heaviest since Monstegeur. The H solo was suberb Stratego: still one of the highlights of the album. Best chorus out of all tracks TWOTW: still holds its own. Best production of the album imo The Time Machine...

I have tried it multiple times. I think I will just have to classify it as a future grower like The Angel and the Gambler.

The Pakrement is on repeat right now. This track is a cinematic experience and pure awesomeness

Thankfully my PS4 can play the cd and the blu-ray. Or else i would be in the same situation as you. My old car used to have a cd player but it seems newer models don't these days

If we consider that Maiden takes 5 years to write albums and they wrote this one in spring 2019 then it has already been 2.5 years. So album #18 should be around spring 2024. The final maiden album given Nico's age. I am hopeful there is at least one more left.

I haven't got mine yet. Probably take a week to ship to asia at the very least. Spotify will have to do until then
