Agreed 100%. I would guess that most of us are lifelong maiden fans here. Regarding the album, is it too much to expect 3-4 songs like abduction, road to hell, the tower etc? I will be very happy if we do.

I totally expected a man of sorrows type ballad from Rain on the graves when I heard the name Hopefully that last song in the album isn't long because it contains a 5 min rap by Bruce instead of an instrumental section

Wow this is even worse than afterglow. Disliked the verse section. Can't help but feel that all this campy theatrics is a distraction from the music. None of these songs sound polished but this one flows better than afterglow which sounded like various sections stiched together in a home studio...

Fair enough. I am happy if we get some tracks like Road to hell, Abduction, Accident of Birth etc on the album. I am just here for the songs, I don't really care about the comics, video and the whole William Blake stuff.

I still don't hear a smooth transition. All the sections feel a bit patched together. I wish he wouldn't do these ultra high notes when he sounds so amazing in lower register. Was listening road to hell just to remind myself why I loved about the past solo albums

One of my favorite from the last album is Navigating the seas of the sun and so I wouldn't mind a few acoustic sections or ballads. As somebody mentioned, Rain on the Graves might be it. I also think this will be a heavier album than Tyranny of Souls judging from the first single, which is great.

Loved both singles. Really excited about that album.

At the end of the day, I am just happy we are getting new music from Bruce. My hope is that the that album will be at least as good as Tyranny of Souls. From the tracklist, I am really curious about the 9.51 min final track.

This is what I have been hearing since Stratego came out about production. Switch off this and that, trying on different speakers, avoiding YouTube version for Hq sites etc etc. For other songs, I can simply put on my Sony xm5 and enjoy. In this song I can hardly hear the first verse section due...

The production sounds so muffled. Decent song with a great chorus. 6/10 for me. The video was terrible. I hope there are better songs on the album. I wish maiden/Bruce had the production quality of the new Judas Priest songs. Both Panic attack and Trial by fire sounds so good

CDs are a dying format. Even the new cars don't have cd players. Pretty soon it will be just streaming and Vinyl.
