I'm just happy this is a proper tour so i can go see them in Glasgow. Really enjoyed TFPT there and managed to get very near the front with zero effort.
I'm as pessimistic as I've ever been about another album happening.
I think real long term planning is potentially out the window now. They've said that they have plans up until 2026, which brings us to the end of this tour. If they're looking to go out in 2027 then planning for that would...
Pretty sure we had Total Eclipse speculation in the last tour too and it never materialized. Its realistically just that the moon is from the debut album cover.
Seeing the full resolution artwork doesn't reveal much more than we already knew.
The whole art vibe is close to Iron...
This is actually a bit better resolution than the one that was posted earlier.
Not much hints in the artwork. Obviously the whole vibe is IM/Killers. Though the shoulder is FOTD, the neck and red eye suggest SIT or SSOASS.
I just hope they really throw a few curve balls in. There's potential for this to be the most bog standard, boring, predictable as hell greatest hits set ever, and I really hope they avoid that.
I honestly don't think significantly upgrading their shows/production for bigger venues would be a smart move for Maiden financially. It would require significant investment and increased touring costs with no guarantee of success. They can make some tweaks to what they do to keep things fresh...
The casuals don't even know the setlist ahead of the gig, hence them moaning when they get the setlist that was promoted rather than the greatest hits that they expect every time.
