You weren’t kidding. Ironically I think this is the most interesting year since 2015 but Firepower is steamrolling the competition.

Yeah I gotta be honest, I didn’t expect BNW to be as popular as it must be. I kinda thought BotB was up @Azas ’s alley. I’ve always thought it wasn’t an amazing cover, but it was a fun one for a great compilation.

Maybe a note about how Bruce couldn’t be involved in the songwriting cuz of Samson when actually he was involved with the songwriting.

The “Spirit Crusher” scream is incredible. The whole song feels like it should run off the rails but every single section is incredible. And “You Could Be Mine” sounds so good playing during Terminator 2.

I like that Bruce adds extra elements to the song live. The studio verses are very samey and crammed together, classic Steve writing.

I actually listened to their first album after learning that they were intently trying to do AoB/TCW-style music and I enjoyed it.
