You are not implying that Iron Maiden are a charity as opposed to the Metallica money-grabbers, are you? Metallica play bigger venues that Maiden in a lot of places because they are a bigger band, full stop. For example, if Maiden could sell out 4 shows at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico they...

That's the spirit. These concerts are celebrations of the music we like (or grew up with), with the people who mean something in our lives. That being said, other than Appetite for Destruction, I find Guns N'Roses to be vastly overrated (and Axl Rose's voice insufferable most of the time).

Fair enough, although the original question was about international acts. If we focus on rock, can we compare them to the attendances achieved by local rock bands like Los Prisioneros and Los Bunkers? If we focus on international rock bands, can we compare them to Metallica or System of a Down?
