1. Purgatory - In my opinion, perfectly represents the early years' raw rock n' roll chutzpah.
2. The Number Of The Beast - My first Maiden song! The atmosphere in it could create a lasting impression on the listener's mind.
3. The Trooper - Perfect signature Maiden song. The harmonies, vocals...
Melodies/Twin leads that immediately comes to mind:
1. Flash Of The Blade (main harmony)
2. Out Of The Silent Planet (verse melody)
3. Rainmaker (harmonic part right after the solo)
4. Speed Of Light (the lead melody; has been my mobile ringtone since a decade!)
5. The Evil That Men Do (chorus...

1. Hallowed Be Thy Name
2. Alexander The Great
3. Fear Of The Dark
4. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
5. Hell On Earth
6. To Tame A Land
7. The Thin Line Between Love & Hate
Glad to see some love for the first two albums with Paul. I have come to like them more over time. There's a reason they are under the legendary status.

My Top 5:
5. A Matter Of Life...
Honestly, the riffs underneath the solos in SSOASS (and not to mention even Moonchild) are what made me appreciate the song more over the years and is currently among my favourites.
Dark Millenium and Asia are next level stuff!
