Hannover has at least 25% unsold seats. Imagine Rod has a magical spreadsheet saying how many tickets needed to break even for the entire tour but a lot more risk in individual shows.
I saw Def Leppard at Wembley Stadium, lucky if 60% of tickets sold.
Would imagine NA / SA dates announced in plenty of time before Christmas to allow fans to get spending priorities in order!
Oz ROW dates ideally announced before Christmas, but as not happen to late October 2026 maybe not. As I live in Bangkok knowing sooner is better!
Looking at San Siro seating map, doesn't look like strong sales. Playing the stadium not using typical goal end configuration (playing across rather than down pitch), which I am guessing would make capacity lower, maybe 40000. Maiden Italy website says more than 20000 tickets sold, which seems...
Depeche Mode sold out London Stadium with 65000, Beyonce Jay Z averaged 63000 in 2 sell outs. Sell outs at O2 in London can range from 21000 down to 13000, depends on configuration (seats or standing on floor, stage in middle or end) and tickets released as noted above.
Saw Maiden in Shanghai...
London was sold out. Halfway down link says just over 69,400. Add on attendance from Birmingham and Manchester then 110k saw Maiden in England. Do tend to agree that big ask to sell 125k at Knebworth, 75k+ be good in 2026, hopefully closer to 90k...
Was looking at Touring Data for Future Past in North America and the tour did well averaging 11k+. Maiden never as big in North America as Europe. Think poor sales in some European markets for 2026 is an issue, but would expect 2026 NA to sell strongly in arenas...
I was one of the idiots bought refundable Cardiff hotels. Hotels in Stevenage now sold out. Maiden playing just North of London on same day as there are Hyde Park and Wembley Stadium concerts means basic Kings Cross hotels with private bathrooms are 400+ pounds for 2 nights without breakfast...
Hope it's Cardiff just booked Premier Inn 5 minutes walk away!
Cardiff infrastructure and venue itself works better than Knebworth. Main train station in Cardiff 10 minutes walk away. Went to the Sonisphere festival Maiden headlined and thought very well run, so wouldn't be bad alternative.
I think early May NZ Australia Asia Japan 8 shows, Europe to follow finish that in Spain 16 shows. Short break.
Late July North America, finish South America early October 32 shows.
Curious if any stadium gigs North America. In Europe curious if play festivals in Germany and England, or if...
I think Leeds has different days with different bands, bit like Hyde Park. In theory Maiden could headline one day, have metal bands opening. Didn't play Yorkshire this year. But AEG promoted, Maiden Live Nation?
