Definitely a grower, like TWOTW was, especially the vocal line so relaxed, which soubds different to our ears. I am a fan of the guitar melody with the vocals, but since the vocals are so low in range, it sounds a bit too overpowering to me. But its a great song and it will soubd amazing in live...

I don't really like NPFTD and The X-Factor, in these two I would skip most of the album. For the other ones, I generally skip The Mercenary from BNW (which I think is way worse than TAATG), Age Of Innocence (DoD) and The Man Of Sorrows from BoS.

I love Ghost and I think both of these are the best songs of their albums actually.

As far as I know the artist did remove his name from it. He is not even cited in the booklet. But agreed, even some concept arts made by fans of reworks on this cover look good enough

I don't think we can talk about pace before listening to the album. A long song can be very dynamic, like BoS imho. There are albums that do suffer from bad song order choosing like A7X Nightmare for example

Prodigal Son, Wasting Love, Journeyman, Out Of The Shadows and Coming Home are the only actual ballads imo.

I am a big fan of this album. It may very well be my favorite post reunion. Dance Of Death is probably a Maiden top 5 for me, and I only really see GoT, NW and AoI as “fillers” - but better ones at that than most of the other albums.
