    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Afraid to Shoot Strange People is a fantastic song and one Bruce can absolutely still nail. I saw two shows on the 2012-2013 tour and loved them both. I’m super excited to see Ghost, but if I could pick only one I’d still choose Maiden.

5 Reasons Iron Maiden Won the Long Game

If there’s one single thing that’s helped the band to last: it’s integrity. They’re honest with themselves and the fans, they stick to their guns, and they play the music they want to. Listen to a lot metal and hard rock from the 80s, and it sounds like it’s from the 80s. Iron Maiden...

    Judas Priest

Opinions so wrong in here it hurts. Ian Hill not being crucial? Scott Travis slander? Saying every album sounds like Painkiller when, in fact, they've actually been sort of revisiting all eras with Shield and Firepower. Might as well just say you stopped listening to Priest in '84 and leave...

    Live After Death anniversary vinyl

I asked for it for Xmas. It’s a cheap easy gift you can get at Walmart and I’d never get it on my own.

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Looked at ticket prices for the venues closest to me and cheapest I saw was $150 for lawn seats. What the ever loving fuck is going on? So instead, wife and I used our “concert money” to go see Ghost next month. It’s a fair trade: I’ve seen Maiden five times and never seen Ghost.

    18th Studio Album discussion

Until Maiden gives a definite “yes” or “no,” I ignore any interviews with nebulous or ambiguous information. Anything else is meaningless to try and decipher.

    Testament

Testament: John Wick Three Para Bellum is a fantastic album and one of the most brutal they've ever released. And the ballad is a stone cold classic. Good stuff!

    Judas Priest

I was at the Virginia Beach show and it was at least a fantastic concert. Especially for my first Priest show. Wish Alice Cooper wasn’t there though. I find him/them mildly more exciting than KISS.

    The X Factor Vs. Senjutsu

It's a toss up to me, as they're both in my top 5. Senjutsu is a very strong album and has The Parchment, which is a top 5 Maiden song for me. Probably my second favorite actually. But the X Factor, the whole album, is just a vibe. It's so dark that if it was a horse it'd be a dark horse...

    The Final Frontier at 15

The Man Who Wanted Burger King But also: still probably my favorite of the reunion albums and by far their most progressive sounding album to date. Starblind is still my tip top number 1 song from the band across any era.

    Now Playing (Video Games)

I am playing Diablo 4 as of this moment in time. Are the DarkSiders Games Worth Playing? I have 1 and 2 in my library but never played them beyond the beginning of 1 where I'm bunny hopping around buses or something.

So much for Nicko remaining a member of the band

I'd just like to add that, when I was 11 years old, I got this cool Iron Maiden tapestry. White design on black cloth. The design was the mummy Eddie in chains. At the bottom of the tapestry it read "Iron Maiden Holdings LLC" or something like that. I remember this because I thought this was...

Maidenfans Best Albums of the Millennium: 2005

On no planet should Tyranny of Souls be that high compared to the other albums on the list. It's a solid Bruce Dickinson effort, but some of the other albums are literally ground breaking.

    In defense of Montségur's chorus

I love Montsegur, even the goofy-ass chorus. That said, the song has a dichotomy between the brutal opening riff and happy-ass chorus reminds me of a hypothetical scenario where Master of Puppets gets the chorus to Helloween's Future World.
