for one of the band i meant in my post earlier, you may check out this URL www.myspace.com/kugirantorch, and maybe their frog-barking sludge metal isn't something really serious stuff to dig into and DISCHARGE-esque guitars & their grizzly bear vocals is mostly a lil' bit annoying for most of us...
i have no problem at all with all those slow/quiet intros & outros which dominates most of Maiden's recent stuff but its real challenge to the band to put all the recent ingredients (3 guitar solos and slow intros/outros included) into 4 minutes song!!! .. there are many out-of-nowhere band have...
i guess that i'm the only one who adore DoD so much .. until nowadays (even they've already came out with AMOLAD and FLIGHT666), this "worst-album-compared-to-BNW" DoD still become my daily playlist! .. can't describe by words why does this happen, coincidentally that this is exactly the only...
Re: 'Face In The Sand'
this is the only Maiden song that made me cry everytime i've listen to it, not to mention its emotion-packed guitar solo by H! .. being ignored by the band when it come to live rendition, this song is criminally underrated!!!
it's not a big deal imho .. all and all, the band still deliver the song at least 99% the same as it's studio version provided just pushing it for a few seconds faster but, its normal really! as long as they didn't re-arrange the song for a completely different stuff just like the other 80s band...
pls don't take me suggestions too seriously, i'm just bluff anyway hohoho ..
# the band should produce sort of "re-charge your battery" kinda stuff on their next album but in a Maiden way of course! doesn't mean that they should collaborate with outside composers or rap singers etc but in term...
These Colours Don
one of the headbanging-epic out of AMOLAD, hopefully this isn't the first (and last) Maiden track that featured Smith/Gers guitar solo! while almost all their songs having either Dave/Jan or Adrian/Dave or triple guitar solo i.e Dave/Adrian/Jan or just one individual solo...
