I would like Maiden to do one more album at least, before contemplating retirement. Bruce's solo career can exist in parallel, they can only be mutually beneficial. Retirement for any band is always contentious, as members get older and some may wish to stop touring either due to age or ill...

Not in Primal Rock Rebellion. That was a fascinating album, albeit vocally as much as musically. Working with a collaborator would push his boundaries even further.

Blaze is at 85 on the UK Download charts. Not quite Bruce's level of success but hey hes there.

Bruce's album is at 2, by far his highest place in the UK album charts. So if this isn't a way to promote an album, just think how successful he would be if he promoted it properly?

Good on Bruce although I dont know much about the charts these days. Do millenials even buy albums or just download sampled hip hop tracks and post stuff on Tiktok?

The amount of coverage for a solo album is impressive. Reflecting how huge Maiden are still internationally. Bruce's 3rd album while in Maiden I think? He has alot of other stuff on....... alot of other bands have more prolonged down periods where they can record solo albums and side projects...

Personally I think it is a grower. Roy Z's guitar work reminds me of Scott Ian a bit. I think Resurrection Men is one of the best tracks on the album, FWIW. I would like him if he does record another solo album to use a full band like Maiden does- although not sure if Roy Z could produce as...

From what I have heard so far, it works pretty well. I am not intending to buy the comic, but it hangs together as a more straightforward rock abum rather than Maiden's more recent prog influenced albums. 19 years is a long time but he has had quite alot on the interim! Not so much a return to...

I will wait for my vinyl. Enjoy, or don't enjoy, as the case may be. Bruce's first album in 19 years. I can see why people want to pirate it.
