I seem to remember from Steve's interviews around that time that they employed very similiar recording techniques in the studio to Maiden. I know the guitarist Dave Hawkins is meant to be a whizz in the studio so not sure how big a role he played in the production side of things.

At the end of the day it is a Bruce solo album not a joint Roy and Bruce album. As long as he gets paid any royalties he is due I think Roy should let it rest. At the moment he is acting all Roger Waters like...

Given it a couple of spins. I am not normally a fan of remixes, but it works on most tracks. I regard it as a companion album to the original rather than better or worse- it is substantially heavier so maybe closer to what Bruce originally intended.

You would have to ask him that. I suppose Dave and Jan as well. They recorded senjitsu in 2019 i think so 6 years to write new songs.

He has spoken about them writing a 3rd album and played the odd unreleased track and as it is 5 years since the last one I imagine it will come out at some point in the next year or so. I think the 2nd one was pretty good myself, first one was patchier. Steve will do whatever he enjoys!

I presume they will tour the US in 2026. Bruce recording his new album and Adrian touring means they will be pretty busy. I suspect we might see another British Lion before another Maiden studio album. A live album is another option for them though they havent released one since 2020 I think?

TBH I am more interested in his new album hopefully recorded early next year with the touring band. I will listen to the new mixes but doubt they will usurp the originals for me. It will be interesting if he records more or less live in the way Maiden do with the complete band. I am sure he is...
