Im hoping it will still be one album full of really strong material. I get worried when it stretches its time, into 2 or more albums.
However I could see them doing a song in 2 or 3 sections, maybe a part 2 and part 3. Develop 1 theme or story in 2 or 3 parts. Might be Steve's sneaky way to beat...
Ah the fakery has started. I don't see Maiden going down the road of using old famous paintings?
Bruce has done it, but don't think it would work in Maiden camp. We need Eddie in his own world....just not
some nasty CGI Eddie please
Definitely. Imminent Maiden album is just a highlight of life. Other problems melt away....cause whatever shit happens...theres new Maiden coming to balance the scales
Honestly I like KS produced albums sound. They are quite different to the 80s, like people said here...they began in 2000 when the loudness war was beginning. They have more weight and body to them then the 80s stuff...however there is more differentiation and detail in the 80s with just 2...
Dear God, Beelzebub and Belshazzar I hope not. Don't think so anyways...I looked up that book and the actual book itself has that date on it. Don't think its manipulated for Maiden
I love that idea in theory, but Riggs isn't who he was. My feeling is they contact about 3 artist with a general idea concept, and pay for concept sketches to be produced. I'd say Wilkenson is in top running after BOS, but at least 3 others will be able to submit concept sketches
Yes NoTD is an Eddie made in someones art class in school. Riggs somehow lost himself when he started using digital and modelling programs. There's a lot to be said for the traditional painting mediums
Agreed. I don't think he's at cover art level really. Am I right in thinking he did the cover or the Eddie for Nights of The Dead? That looked to me like fan art.
I did indeed. I used photoshop and lightroom for corrections, then illustrator to vectorize. I know its not totally accurate, but it did come from a low res photo of the framed poster behind glass...so not too bad considering. Hope it comes out well for ya
