I wouldn't expect that without knowing anything about what he's going to sound like with Maiden. As far as I know, no video has been released at all where you can hear Simon playing a bit of Maiden or anything like that. Not every new band member/live musician always plays without feeling and...

I thought Phil Anselmo was cancelled? I read that the band was even disinvited from Rock am Ring because other bands (I think including the headliner) complained.

I personally don't have any information about it, but I couldn't say that @Nomadd is wrong and that there's nothing to it either. I do think that management decisions have been made recently that I found strange and counterproductive. Just one example, Maiden playing in Germany during Wacken. I...

You could take this "2025" to mean that someone else will join the band after that, but certainly not Joe Lazarus. Why would his father freak out so much if he knew that Joe's engagement with Maiden would only be delayed by a year because of other jobs? But I also thought that it was a strange...

Not really. Bruce did not say there will be studio projects with Nicko. He said Nicko is still a member of the band which could have a lot of different meanings...
