To be fair I did comment that his sudden change in performance had to be something other than age, it was a huge change after only 7 months. At the time I expected an illness like the flu, or a back injury.

The band just released their summer collection, everything in the video is Powerslave themed. A hint for next year?
To be honest it really just comes across as trolling at this point. I can't imagine spending all my time posting about something I clearly don't like anymore.
I'll be putting him on ignore, I would encourage others do the same.
Honestly I have to agree. I'm all for lively discussion and people expressing their opinions, but the CONSTANT "the sky is falling! Everything is terrible! Maiden are doomed" is just getting so fucking tiresome.
I hope that Kevin posting about the Maiden live albums is a hint that he'll be mixing the new one. Though I'd be happy with Pooch doing it too. As long as it isn't Newton.
I think the talk of the ATG artwork being a new album/song hint is still a bit of a stretch. But interesting speculation...
There's been a bit of discussion in the interviews thread. But my take is that it's meaningless.

That is an Olympic level of stretching. It would involve Maiden writing a new song/album before the future past tour started, creating an artwork with a hidden reference so that they can reveal it later. Not a chance.
It's bad when there so little going on in the Maiden camp that people resort...
I think it's hard to call without them having said anything about the tour. For now I'd say 90% bog standard greatest hits set with a couple of curve balls thrown in.
That was a good read. For the most interesting bit was this:
I know Steve has mentioned just becoming a studio band after retiring from touring, but maybe if Bruce is interested too there's more chance it would actually happen.
Honestly other than having to change the high notes at end of each chorus that sounds fine to me. To sound that good when you have a cold is really impressive.
Hearing Nicko rolling down the toms at the end of RTTH really put a smile on my face. It's tough hearing the songs without their usual fluid drums, but I think some of this is down to playing alongside an orchestra rather than your bandmates you've spent 40+ years playing with. Really keen to...
