Prowler was played in 2005 for Eddie Rips Up The World.
No ones cancelling Maiden for lyrical content.
Maiden aren't self censoring for fear of backlash.
Stop complaining about the oppression that exists entirely in your own imagination.
Afraid To Shoot Strangers
I just don't get the love for this song. There's 2 admittedly awesome lead melodies n the song, but of its 7 minute runtime there's not even 3 minutes worth listening to.
The song plonks away doing basically nothing for nearly 3 minutes before anything interesting...
AMOLAD does sound really good too. A bit more natural than BNW, but still good. Some of the vocals are a bit buried though.
The "no mastering" thing also kinda held it back on initial release as I think it needed a bit of boost at the top and bottom to make it more hi-fi, but the 2015 remaster...
I think there would be plenty to be excited about with a live album from TFPT. Loads of songs that haven't been played in decades, some brand new ones. I loved the Glasgow show and that wasn't even Nicko at his best post-stroke. Sure there's fills and nuances missing, but for the slower songs I...
I'm still exceptionally skeptical that Nicko would play on a future Maiden album.
It's a more forgiving environment and he can be helped with multiple takes and editing, but he still just doesn't have the same ability that he did pre-stroke.
It would massively slow the whole process (which...
This might make me tweak my setlist prediction slightly, looks like we're heading into 100% 2 hours of the absolute biggest hits.
Potentially a bit boring for us die-hards, but I'm sure the crowd reaction will be insane.
It also gives me the fear that Aces High might make a comeback.
Retiring after LOTB 2019 would have certainly been going out on a HUGE high point in terms of performance and stage show.
But we wouldn't have had the Future Past tour, which despite Nickos stroke was still a fantastic fan service tour.
Yeah we've got Raven Age in Glasgow. They're like a more generic Bullet for My Valentine. Still better than Shinedown though.
I loved having Killswitch Engage on LOTB, and enjoyed Funeral for a Friend on Dance of Death tour.
Simon will be under a fairly tight contract regarding interviews, social media etc.
I have no doubt there are magazines and websites looking to speak to him, but it's not just a case of messaging him on socials and getting a response. Any interviews with him will have to go through Maidens...

Whats everyone's thoughts on the stage production for this?
I think the chat about them using big screens in the place of backdrops is likely accurate. TFPT was almost like a test run to see what they could do with it.
I'm looking at things like the giant CGI characters and landscapes that are...
