Not much hints in the artwork. Obviously the whole vibe is IM/Killers. Though the shoulder is FOTD, the neck and red eye suggest SIT or SSOASS.
I just hope they really throw a few curve balls in. There's potential for this to be the most bog standard, boring, predictable as hell greatest hits set ever, and I really hope they avoid that.
I honestly don't think significantly upgrading their shows/production for bigger venues would be a smart move for Maiden financially. It would require significant investment and increased touring costs with no guarantee of success. They can make some tweaks to what they do to keep things fresh...

No. Compression is used to control volume and dynamics. (there are some shades of grey here, e.g. multi-band compression) but the result and objective isn't to make all frequencies the same volume.

It's clearly not a money thing with Maiden. The cost barriers to high quality recordings are basically zero these days. But they choose to book a huge studio for 3 months with basically zero songs written. It's actually a very expensive way to do things.
