Mckindog feels differently, but I'm kind of relieved some people shared my opinion on Ghost. It's a band I have heard praised so much, and I was afraid it's yet again a band I don't understand.

I'll know what to expect, then. And as a bonus, there will be no fighting over if it's metal or not.

I don't drink beer, so the only thing worse at the moment you wake up to your neighbours fighting and renovating at 1:30 would have been to be forced to drink beer. :bigsmile:

I believe there was already a complaint made, but it didn't change anything. If I'm completely serious, the noise isn't continuous and doesn't bother me that much. It's just irritating, and I can't understand how someone can spend such a long time renovating a one-room flat. :)

Well, now that you mentioned it, no sounds of the woman wailing anymore. Just the hammering... What can they be doing, other than floor, kitchen cabinets or assembling furniture??? The floor isn't that big, have they bought a massive storage system or what? Also, the rules of this building...

Least favorite neighbour's renovation noises: 1. Drilling 2. Hammering 3. Fighting. The renovation's been happening on and off for 1,5 years now. I understand you have a day job, but kindly finish it quickly or leave it! How can it possibly take so long to do a tiny apartment, do you keep doing...

I think of this as a playful game, not a Cup where albums are put in 100% right order sternly by their quality. And it's so difficult to say what is 100% metal and what 100% is not.

I'v seen Ghost open for Maiden in Oslo, and I thought it was alright. I've also heard a couple of Ghost songs on the radio over the years. But this song left me a bit lukewarm. I don't think I could grasp what the band is about. Therefore, easy win for Dance of Death. Angel City had a punkish...

I've always voted based on which song (or album, if I know enough songs) I like better. I also decided I will use this criteria whether I think the song is metal or not. The genre limits can be so flexible sometimes, and I felt I cannot change my voting criteria in the middle of a Cup. I don't...

Believe me, I wouldn't have believed I will. But I just don't like shouting and sounds that make me feel the vocalist is soon going to be sick.
