He posted now that Phantom are in contact with Live Nation who again deal with Ticketmaster regarding the long queues. 40k people in line to buy tickets, but there aren't even 40k members in North America. Also the dynamic pricing.
I wonder if anything will come of all this. Would be really...
1,500 posts in the North America presale thread on the fanclub. 98% angry fans. Alexander Milas wrote a post yesterday which translates into
"Sorry not sorry. Ticketmaster bad, Phantom good. Those who got tickets congrats, see you next year"
I wonder why the prices are that much higher in USA vs Europe. I can't imagine that the bands asking fee is that much higher. Of course they get paid well, but are the touring costs a lot higher in the US?
Trooper VIP has to be one of the worst deals in history.
And sounds like the FC presale is a disaster. Massive queues, up to 40,000(!!!!) for some shows. I can't imagine that number being fanclub members looking for tickets.
There isn't supposed to be dynamic pricing. I would get in contact...
Hellfest.
South America, Australia and Japan. I would say 15-20 shows, bringing the total up to 55-60 shows.
I have seen some talk of Australia in November and the tour ending in Japan.
I think it might be someone like Anthrax, or possibly one of the Knebworth support acts. If sales slow down they will want a good band to give them a boost.
There is a clear plan here. Less shows but hopefully bigger crowds. It also allows them to do a European leg.
There is room for extra shows in Toronto, New Jersey and Los Angeles. But I am not certain they will do extra shows in all three cities. The second LA show in 2024 was never announced...
It's a massive venue, so I am really curious if they are doing any other stadiums besides the one in Los Angeles and this one.
The rumours of a shorter run are probably legit.
