Rumours... It would be nice to add some shows; fans are all about that, but if they don't announce the dates in the next two weeks, there's no chance. We'll see.
We can not blame IM and Rod for the dynamic pricing policy on American Ticketmaster. Just their habits for all events, I guess. BTW, congrats on additional shows, probably LA is next. So, I was WRONG, mea culpa :(
The prices are ridiculous, as I said, there's no option they'll add extra shows to NA schedule. Too expensive tickets, very unpredictable markets, etc.
Maybe they will announce something after the Knebworth show. Hellfest has always been my type; they're announcing the lineup in December, so we'll have to wait a little. October will focus on Latin America and South America, followed by Oceania and Asia. I expect not more than 6 - 7 dates...
I'm wondering if they decide to play some dates in Australia/Japan, 4 shows would be very likely: 2 in both countries, Saitama Arena in Japan would be a great opportunity, and two open-air fields in Australia.
If so, it would be a complete flop; the better choice could be Villa Park in Birmingham, or even Cardiff field. Knebworth is expensive and not the best location.
P.S.: One more point in my collection of Rod's failures as a leader of management.
It's really mind-blowing especially in Maiden World. I'm living in Europe but it's too early to spend a lot of money to see exactly the same show which I just saw a few months ago. I must feel something has missed out of my life to buy the ticket. Generally shows in the same cities were...
