RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Well the shows I went too in 1995 and 2006 were recorded for radio and the reaction to the new material is amazing during both!

You wouldn't happen to have been temporarily deaf and blind in November 2006, would you?

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Best and most intense Maiden shows in went too were Kåren 1995 (The X Factor in focus) and Globen 2006 (Full AMOLAD performance). None of them were exactly fan favourite focused but they got the best reaction out of the 30 or so shows I've seen by Maiden. Too bad you never got to experience...

Cool! I really hope they tour the album. Bruce did beyond well touring his solo material last year, and I think Adrian has a great band and great material, he is up there with Bruce.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Yeah, this is pretty common among casual fans. They tend to gravitate toward a condensed, greatest-hits style set, missing the key point that Iron Maiden has a rich, diverse history with a wealth of exciting material that demands more attention and engagement from the audience. Unfortunately...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Insane to think they did an almost 3 hour long show with Blaze at the start of Virtual XI World tour: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/iron-maiden/1998/the-oval-rock-house-norwich-england-5bd39fdc.html

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

If I remember this correctly, if you compare the Rush live albums Snakes & Arrows Live and All the World's a Stage there is not a single song that appears on both albums. Snakes & Arrows Live includes just one song from the 70's, while All the World's a Stage features songs from the first four...

    Janick’s first appearance with Maiden?

Maiden Revelations has a great article on this: https://maidenrevelations.com/2015/01/23/feature-friday-times-of-change-1990-91/ Not sure when Janick was announced. But here's the announcement about Adrian leaving in Kerrang Feb 90:

How will Simon Dawson change the look and sound of Maiden?

Clive had a relatively small kit if I remember correctly?

The release date has been pushed to from early March to April sometime, so I think its a bit to soon for reviews. I ordered the vinyl from Sweden Rock Magazine, and it includes a signed poster. Very excited to put it in the office next to my signed Bruce Dickinson poster!

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Yes, that was really cool. Too bad they removed it from the set before the 2014 leg. Murders in the Rue Morgue in 1998 was a shocker. I didn’t expect Fallen Angel or Out of the Silent Planet to make it into the set in 2001, but it was great that they leaned heavily on Brave New World at the time.

    Back in 1993

I think Blaze mentions that Janick spilt tea or something on them? If I had the chance to sing the A Real Live Dead One set with Steve Harris, Nicko McBrain, Dave Murray, and Janick Gers, it would be the only thing I'd talk about for the rest of my life. Well..

How will Simon Dawson change the look and sound of Maiden?

It would probably have been better to drop Caught Somewhere in Time and The Trooper to begin with. If Simon came in before 2024 we could have had a live album from the Future Past Tour. I’m not sure, man—this part of your sentence sounds like total mumbo jumbo to me. Maiden did just fine with...

How will Simon Dawson change the look and sound of Maiden?

To be fair, Nicko had very little influence on the creative direction of Maiden. Blaze and Clive, despite their shorter tenures, had more input. Even the members from 1975-1979 had a greater role in shaping the band's direction. Simon, as a touring member, has no say in the band’s decisions, but...

Simon Dawson is the new drummer

Frequently it sound's like he almost hits the notes, but is missing a quarter. In live performances it happens too often, specially in Bruce songs. He was technically underprepared.
