I've listened to a couple of Sabaton songs. Nothing is screaming out at me to say: buy their album. Yet. It may happen. I love this cover of the Stone's classic.

Ok folks, convince me on this Sabaton stuff. From what I've listened to so far, it is a bit cheesy. Bearing in mind, this band, for me, is the best new band I've heard in a long time:

Around 16 years ago, I contracted pneumonia. And although I was initially in a lot of pain and could barely breathe, it wasn't until I was out of the woods I realised I was possibly the only person on that ward that would have survived my bout of that illness. Took me months to fully recover.

Well, I managed to buy my Testament ticket today. I mean, Testament, supported by Annihilator and Vader....for £20 odd. Friggin bargain.

I agree, Freebird is a great song. Much better than the other one. The track I tend to skip if I play IV.

Skip to 13:41 and see 'Arrys face. You know that he knows that Maiden has killed this. In my opinion, one of the best versions of this song I've seen.

New Frontier?

On Friday, I'm going to put myself In a virtual queue for tickets to see Testament & Annihilator. I really want to see that show, but I'll have to do whilst I'm at work.

Got my "What Does This Button Do?" Book yesterday. First edition with the black edged paper. Apparently, I'm not allowed to touch it any more, so I got a second. I can't touch/read that one either.
