I looked forward to that Geoff Tate gig so much, only to miss it because of COVID.
Big ups and major shouts for you mentioning Toddsryche tour - I had no idea and would have completely missed it. I've seen them twice since they formed and it's always been fun
EDIT: Apparently they're doing all...
I doubt it's official, but then again - I put my coffee mug behind my laptop this morning and spilled it before I even had a sip of it when I adjusted the laptop screen. What do I know
They really managed to follow up an all-timer tour in Legacy of the Beast with another all-timer tour with The Future Past Tour. Immensely looking forward to any live material from this tour. But then again, Somewhere in Time is my #1 album of their and Senjutsu is my favourite album post-Brave...
I just saw this while waiting for the laundry and yelled out an audibly loud "oh shit"
Godspeed, bless and thanks for being the rhythms for a formative period in my life and beyond
There's a similar thread at https://forum.maidenfans.com/threads/what-songs-albums-have-you-changed-your-mind-the-most-drastically-about-since-you-started-listening-to-im.71694/ if you are curious for more
I have a slight memory of hanging out here during the time when Paschendale/Dance of Death was rotated. I think it was something about some botches in Paschendale during that time before it got shelved during that tour
My theory about Wasting Love having those huge numbers on Spotify is that it may have been included in a high-profiled curated playlist from Spotify. Maybe some "heavy metal ballad" curated thing that many people have subscribed on and have listened to it that way, rather than being targeted.
