I was in Manchester for work today, coincidentally the Conservative Party conference was in town. Spotted a few MPs and Conservative commentators walking about, and I've never felt anger directed towards a group of people in my life. My hatred for that party and everyone in it is vitriolic.
Usually I don't notice things like live mixes during a gig (unless it's catastrophically bad) but the difference between 2017 and 2018 was night and day. My eyebrows have only just grown back from how powerful the drum sound was in 2018.
Personally, just on the sole basis that I have yet to experience the release of a new Bruce album and solo tour, I'm more excited for that. But that's purely based on the fact that there's no new Maiden album on the horizon.

Especially just a year after the last one. I remember coming out of the Birmingham show on the TBOS tour thinking I might not see them again because of how rare and sparse (at the time) UK tours were.
I'm glad Maiden has stopped neglecting the UK as much as they did in the years after the reunion, with three full tours in six years. After Brave New World, there were only three UK tours until The Book of Souls with shows being restricted to London or festival shows.
I remember when I became...
