It's now been over 24 hours since the Sydney show and I'm still smiling in a way that would make Dave Murray proud.
My experience is just like many others around the world who've already posted....best ever setlist for an album tour (aside perhaps from AMOLAD), the Air Raid Siren is sounding...
Trooper Ale is throwing a free entry party outside the venue in Sydney before the show tomorrow.
It kicks off at 3pm so there's plenty of time to savour a few beers and look for Chad before heading to the barrier.
ABD666 lands in Sydney this afternoon at 2:53pm. I'll be watching it from my rooftop with The Book Of Souls blasting out of the stereo.

The US-leg of the TFF tour would have made an awesome live album and been a more exciting release than From Fear To Eternity which was more or less another redundant greatest hits.
And if not as a stand alone release the band could have included 4-5 sings as a bonus audio disc for the En Vivo...
The Apparition is my favourite song on my least favourite album. It contains two superb solos by Janick and doesn't bother with a chorus which is a good thing on an album in which most choruses are terrible.
And why would the ghost of a dying man want to sing a chorus anyway?
Landover so no Sea of Madness, it stills hurts me to this day. When the backdrop of the the ship appeared I thought they were going to play Alexander The Great but I was actually relieved it was for Rime Of The Ancient Mariner. Wish it was Alex now.
Wilmington is the largest city in Delaware and it is only a 19 minute train journey from downtown to central Philadelphia which also means it's about a 2 minute flight on Ed Force One. The band could do a daytime matinee in Wilmington and have a dozen Trooper Ales before performing in Philly the...
All this maidenfans feedback is totally fantastic. I'm going to the Maiden shows in Sydney and Melbourne, hopefully FTTB like last time they toured, and was originally not going to read this thread as I wanted to go in fresh and not knowing the setlist.
But as a long term (but relatively quiet)...
Thanks people for the guitar solo updates. I'm looking forward to each and every solo but in particular Dave's melodic masterpiece in Death And Glory and all solos in TBOS.
I've stood Davey's side every time...caught a pic during TFF and my brother caught one of Dave's sweaty wristbands...
Wake up American maidenfans...I keep checking this site for updates and need more info, insight, reviews from you of this week's shows! How dare you sleep when we are all thirsty to hear of your experiences!!!
Did all guitarists stay true to their guitar solos on TBOS or did they improvise...
One of the great aspects of the new setlist is that Maiden didn't succumb to the obvious and "come out with a bang to start a show". They could have kicked things off with Speed Of Light, which btw sounds as though it totally rocks live according to those at the first couple of shows, but...
On the AMOLAD tour there was an Eddie-less wartime newspaper backdrop for Brighter Than A Thousand Suns and on the TFF tour an Eddie-less apocalyptic backdrop for When The Wild Wind Blows...my guess is they will have something similar and relevant for The Ed And The Black.
The Rainmaker would be an ace replacement for Wasted Years but a risky song choice for the encore alongside Tears Of A Clown if that happens to be the position in the China setlist where WY is being placed. I would love these two non-classics to end the show but the "play classics" crowd, the...
