Your bottom 5 Iron Maiden albums

No Prayer and Fear, yes, but Book and Senjutsu are great as they are as a whole piece. Maybe Final Frontier and Book is curious.

Stratego showed the opposite. Steve said he prefers to write longer songs/glue others ideas and that's not easy I imagine, but that doesn't mean he can't write shorter songs. He just doesn't want. Interesting is key for him. Stale or not. If he wants to change his approach, then that's a...

1.unfortunately yes. 2.yeah, but most of the other old/older bands around the same age release more often. Bruce will too. 3.fair enough; but since Jan and Dave don't have solo projects... 4.and yet the latest album proved that they can still come up with interesting and fresh ideas. I think...

All true. Maybe they have some ''obligations'' with the current (anniv) tour and it was planned with Nicko after all. Simon brought a needed energy. A possible idea, although it's hard to see it with Maiden, but with all these surprises...

The third Blaze-sung Maiden album: lyrically a fusion of Silicon Messiah and BNW, but musically rooted in BNW?

The chorus is pure Bruce, yes, but the rest is from VXI book. Not Ghost In The Machine or The Launch imo. Yes. Why? The confidence of a 3rd album. Because of the production? Born As A Stranger and Launch with intros? Doubt it. Well, TXF is at least a special album. This version of a potential...

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Short appearances/tours could be the future, but that would be so un-Maiden. I clicked on a random part of their video, and if I understand it right, they said that in the new Metal Hammer interview (we haven't read it in full) - Bruce says they won't tell us when the last tour is. And given the...

A ''Maiden festival'' with special guests (Blaze's band and other friends of theirs) would be cool. With Eddies everywhere.

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Another album tour and a tour covering all albums/eras are the options. Part 2 of RFYL, deep cuts tour, or Reunion tour are not that likely. Unfortunately, they had opportunities. Although who knows, they can't just play the same hits all over again in the next years, even with short tours...

Yeah, we don't know if Dave and Janick want to record. It would be odd if they didn't. I think there's always a demand for a new Maiden album. Well, they're being asked about a new Maiden album and they've certainly at least thought about it since 2021. Bruce says this because he wants to...

''And counting'' could be a key. The open talking is atypical of them, agree. Committing to a 2-year (album) tour is something normal, right. Or they could just do 1 year, like 2026 schedule. The current tour is indeed their ultimate hits, so it's fitting for what you're saying (also, saying in...

    Primal Fear

The bonus song ''Bridges Will Burn'' is really good. It should have been an album song. Great melodic riff, melodies, verses and anthemic chorus. It's more classic metal. The chorus is repeated a lot, but at the end there are some backing vocals that add to it. Nice solos. Shorter rocker done right.

Why was the last Round so short? Tygers Of Pan Tang's Crazy Nights is cartoonish, but the idea is cool and works with the great colors. Megadeth's Peace Sells... But Who's Buying is another striking cover by them and the colors really help imo. The Ultimate Sin should have been better.

It's curious, we were expecting some info about the future soon (major interview indeed), but remember that Bruce wanted to get Maiden excited about new music now in the liner notes of his recent solo album, so this could be the same intention.

Good call. With Maiden is different, but he wrote and is writing now songs for Simon with BL. To write a Maiden album with a different drummer in 40+ years is a challenge. He has used to Nicko's playing and doesn't wan't a different vibe/style in the studio? True that. It's like a joke. There's...

A deflection is possible, they like to work in secret, but for some reason it doesn't feel that way this time. I fear of some band members wanting to retire/not sure if they'll continue after this special tour. And I'm not talking about Steve, Bruce, Adrian or Simon. The were ''rumors''(?).

I would never want a Maiden album with fewer Steve contributions. Bruce can help him with his solo ideas, if fitting for Maiden.
