    18th Studio Album discussion

Idk how the material in BL is written, but it's probably different for Steve live and in the studio. But he has songwriting experience with Simon in mind, so that's good. His longer material is probably a bit tricky now. The overall statement should be true. The interview with Steve from today...

    Bruce Dickinson

At least they played Revelations once, second to last song in the set. Good performance by the band, a bit of a different vibe as Bruce mentioned (Mistheria played an extra solo between the two solos, it's odd to hear one there; the solos were very nice renditions), Bruce rules. Philip with a...

Album Cover Art Cup <<WINNER: Bell Witch - Mirror Reaper >>

Such details in the (full art) background are always cool and add a lot, especially in the sky. Space theme done very well and in a painted style.

The verses of ''Flash Of The Blade'' could have been a Priest song, Bruce likes SFV and SWOD after all.

Iron Maiden News, Links, and Interviews

Even if the interviewer mistaken Bruce's solo album for the next year, I think that's a curious quote from Steve. It gives a little more hope by saying - that he's not ruling it out, not been properly discussed (but still discussed in some way), and that there's no reason NOT to record another...

    Bruce Dickinson

I loved that Bruce complimented Blaze's voice. Btw, Purple's ''Mandrake Root'' instrumental section is cool and perfect for the theme, especially for 1968! Long tribal drumming with keys (more than half of the song!), right for Bruce's band. If only he has a proper title track for the latest...

    Blaze Bayley

I think he likes Sign, Clansman and probably Futureal. Man (for sure, it's for Blaze) and Flies probably not so much, but the latter was such a surprise for the 2003 tour that he should at least enjoy it. And it's like a song they could have written with him in the 90's. He did a great job with...

https://blabbermouth.net/news/bruce-dickinson-says-everybody-in-iron-maiden-is-perfectly-happy-with-simon-dawson-you-cant-replace-nicko-mcbrain-with-a-clone Bruce with another response about Simon and Nicko: Obviously, it was different, because Simon is not Nick. He's not a copy of Nick. His...

    Bruce Dickinson

Thanks for sharing. The curious bits: The new album will be different again. And he hopes the fans will get it, like TMP. Don't expect the same old stuff. The band put ideas on the road. They allowed 3 weeks to record early next year. 85% of it is like ready, they pre-recorded 9 songs in...

    Blaze Bayley

From Bruce's recent interview with Chris Jericho, he was asked about TXF album: He said he wasn't interested in listening to it at the time because he wasn't in the band. Despite both of their voices being so different and it was hard for him, he loved Blaze and Wolfsbane, great guy. ''Sign Of...

Could you share the most interesting bits? Only The Good Die Young for TFP tour or the current one? Bruce shouldn't have an issue with it, it's odd. I mean, he nails Flash Of The Blade and still tries Aces High...

    Blaze Bayley

Justice Of The Peace's instrumental section sounds great live. The vocal parts are 50/50. But a cool rocker, it could have been written in the early 2000s too. Blaze, nice job, the studio version is perfect. He didn't play the other 2 B-sides?

    Judas Priest

Awesome news, they're on a roll. It seems they/Richie have the ideas. Taking a year off to write and record is normal for Priest. Album release probably in 2027 or 2028. Their Richie-albums gaps are: 4 years-6 years(because of the anniv tour)-and now 3 or 4 years again. It's great to follow-up a...

    Blaze Bayley

It's nice that Blaze upgrades his album covers when he reissue them or for tour arts. Born As A Stranger is a typical single, maybe it would have been with Maiden. Since he's doing it for TXF, it's only fair to do for VXI too, despite the album being less popular.

This art style is so impactful, no wonder Bruce likes it so much. It's perfect for metal, like Helloween's recent albums. Imagine what you could do for a booklet of an album in this style... TCW or for TMP would have been fitting. Like he did with TOS booklet.

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Good call, but the other band members who don't have solo projects are curious - Dave and Janick. Taking a whole year break (*especially now) is because they don't know what to do. Continue (with the new lineup, no doubt), write an album, next tour and ideas. Playing just their usual songs for...
