The Parchment is going to be in my all time favorite maiden tracks along with Senjutsu and Stratego.

FTGGOG and Legacy clicked instantly for me and I still listen to those two tracks all the time. I think the hooks in the Parchment, HoE are a little more complex and might take time to settle. Let's revisit this during #18 :cheers:

Agreed. My top 6 in Senjutsu: Senjutsu, Stratego, TWOTW, Days of Future Past, The Parchment, HoE Vs My top 6 in TBOS Book of Souls, If Eternity Should Fail, The Great Unknown, TRATB, Empire Overall Senjutsu feels much stronger even after excluding The Darkest Hour and The Time Machine. IMO...

Track by track review so far... Senjutsu: an absolute beast of a song. One of the heaviest since Monstegeur. The H solo was suberb Stratego: still one of the highlights of the album. Best chorus out of all tracks TWOTW: still holds its own. Best production of the album imo The Time Machine...

I have tried it multiple times. I think I will just have to classify it as a future grower like The Angel and the Gambler.
