If Roy hadn't been making comments this whole time I'd agree that it's just a guy having his opinion, but he just can't stop being negative. I don't think he cares, it could have sounded incredible and he'd crap on it.

Of course he can't be replaced. That's why Maiden didn't find a Nicko clone. They got someone who will do the songs in his own way, but that will still work well.

I wouldn't take what Nicko said as bad grapes. He just talked about what he thought. He's not had a bad word to say other than jokingly making fun of Simon's drum kit and a little teasing at Bruce.

This just sounds like Nicko joking around. Maybe feeling a little less restrained about what he wants to say. He is free, after all, he's not going on tour again, and his money is now passive rather than actively earned from the band (unless he plays on a new album). I wouldn't even sweat it.

That's too late. They should be getting the dates out in September at the latest. Consider the announcements for TFPT leg 2 were more than 10 months in advance of the first dates. I actually couldn't book hotels because I was so far out.

I'm guessing North American dates are on the way, at which point I'll have to beg for a fan club code :D

Ghost is a lot of fun live, but their most recent albums leave me so offput that I haven't bothered seeing them (and they haven't bothered coming to Canada, and I am not crossing the border to the USA currently).

The generic Sabaton sound is starting to really get to me at this point. Two albums of it was enough, and it was already starting to grate by the end of Heroes, but we're now five albums into the same thing over and over again.

Yeah, I'm likely going to go see it as well. The trailer looks good, to be honest. I got some good laughs from it.

That's a good Testament album but I have to be loyal to Iced Earth, I don't want Jon Schaffer thinking he lost another election... My anti-Sepultura bias wins out, as does my Canadian bias for Annihilator.
