This is the line-up for Donnington. Any recommendations from anyone on which bands I might like to see?

@Perun Did you know that Earls Court arena is being demolished? I know it's been planned for a while, but it's actually started to go now. I'm quite sad about it really, an iconic venue where I had some really good times: going to the Royal Tournament each year as a child; my first Maiden gig...

It's a really poor line up. The bands I'm next interested in seeing are Kiss and Motley Crüe. And I'm only slightly interested in them. I'd mainly go to have some time off work and drink beer with friends.

I think I might go to Donnington next week. Is it worth camping for 5 days just to see Priest?

Probably a no from me Prune. Like the wingman, my annual leave is evaporating quickly. Also festivals don't hold the same appeal to me right now as they once did. Where are you going mate?

Bruce Dickinson video interviews / shows

Yeah, it's from the Anthology DVD. A great insight into Bruce's bizarre mind.

Hello mate! Not too bad, up and down. And you? Let me know next time you're in London and we'll sink a few pints. Just back from football. I suspect I've fractured my shin (in last week's match). A&E is just so boring but will probably have to go tomorrow. Can't do it now, off to watch the...

Plenty of google search results refer to a BBC ban, including a page on the BBC website. No reason to doubt your memory though CWBL, maybe it was an apocryphal fact which caught on.

Which is correct. I was stumped. Point 1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Now_That's_What_I_Call_Music_12_(UK_series) says it was on there. Point 2. I'll take your word for that. To be fair to the bloke setting the questions, he's no professional and knows nothing about Iron Maiden.

So these were the questions from the quiz last week (only ten of them): 1 With which UK Heavy Metal band did Bruce Dickinson front before he joined Iron Maiden in 1981? 2 Which Portsmouth-born artist painted the sleeve covers for Iron Maiden albums throughout the 80s, as well as the band's...
