Only 15 songs, Blood Brothers back in the set... they're slowing down, which is comprehensible. I doubt they'll play Senjutsu in full. But if they do it, I can even see a 14-song show with only Senjutsu + Encore.
I'm going to attend both Rock in Rio and São Paulo. For the first time, I'll see them twice on the same tour. In your opinion, is there any chance they'll play more Senjutsu songs apart from TWOTW, Senjutsu, and Stratego?
Choosing between WTWWB and HOE was very difficult. I think the latter is a better song overall, but I chose the former for sentimental and nostalgic reasons.
Smith plays the low octave and Gers the high one, as they usually do (e.g. TRATB ).
There might be other changes in the lead throughout the song. For example, 6:25 it's Murray again?
I was thinking about this over the last week, as I'm recording a guitar cover for this song. I think the 3 of them play melody leads in this song. It's clear that the two guitars that play 2:46-3:00 are not the same that play from 3:01 on. Not sure if it's Smith/Gers (2:46-3:00) and Murray (3:01...
SIT is likely the only album with two highlight songs (Loneliness and ATG) that were never played live. Generally, there's only one big miss per album - TFF (Starblind), BNW (Thin Line), FOTD (Judas). SIT really had a weird tour for several reasons.
What I think:
Senjutsu
Stratego
TWOTW
Days of Future Past
Death of the Celts
Hell on Earth
What I would like:
Stratego
TWOTW
Lost in a Lost World
Darkest Hour
Parchment
Hell on Earth
Is this all about the clipping on 'Parchment' and 'Hell on Earth'? If so, I've noticed the very first time I've listened. And I think that in 'Parchment' this issue is more blatant.
I've just read a few pages behind that Parchment has no climax. I mean, the "meet me there" part followed by the killer riff is literally more climactic than everything Maiden has done since the instrumental breakdown in SSOASS (the song). LOL It seems that people listen to the long songs with a...
The track ordering influences the Spotify views. It seems that people play the first song and let the album run until, I don't know, they get to work or finish their jogging. Youtube has a different algorithm. Hell on Earth popped up on my initial page several times.
