Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Does anyone know what happened to Adrian’s Sunburst Strats? I know #2 was last seen on the Legacy of the Beast tour as a warm-up guitar, without the Roland GK3 (there's a video somewhere of Adrian playing it during LOTB for a warmup), and as far as I know, it’s currently at his house in Gerrards...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

It would be nice to see that kind of photos in the Infinite Dreams book, since Maiden’s instruments will hopefully appear, so, some rack photos could be seen!! Btw, thanks for the replies!!

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Does anyone know if Adrian used both #1 and #2 sunburst Strats in the RIR 2001 gig? And in which songs did he use them? P.S: In case he used #2, was it tuned to drop D?

What if Adrian played/wrote some of Janick's solos?

Absolutely agree, I think that some NPFTD and FOTD solos can also be done by Adrian, but very few of them, for example Fates Warning and Fear is the Key, other solo from The X Factor for example would be 2 A.M

What if Adrian played/wrote some of Janick's solos?

Indeed, Jan’s solo is very nice, it is fast and aggressive, but as a die-hard Adrian fan, for me every Adrian solo is a masterpiece

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

I found this picture today somewhere on the internet, this clearly isn't the famous checkerboarded bass from WST, NPFTD and FOTD tours since the one from the photo has a maple neck and AFAIK the original one has rosewood (I also think the original chess bass was red), this might be a different...

What if Adrian played/wrote some of Janick's solos?

I was about to say that!! Adrian’s solo version in Tattooed Millionaire sounds great, not so fast and not so chaotic, I guess also that other Janick’s solos can be done by Adrian, not only FOTD, for example, as you said Blood Brothers, I think that Wasting Love would be another one that would...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Does anyone know if Dave and Steve had ever played in Drop-D live? I know that H uses drop D in some songs and Janick too (Time Machine for example), but I don’t know if Dave and Steve had ever played in drop D too, anyone knows? P.S: What songs do Adrian and Janick play/played in drop-d?

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Does anyone know what guitar is Dave using here? (specifically at 18:38 of the video), it looks like a white completely stock Fender Strat, don’t know it it is loaned or something.

Create your own Iron Maiden setlist!

Difficult to choose, but my setlist would be: 1). Be Quick Or Be Dead 2). Revelations 3). Sea of Madness 4). The Trooper 5). Phantom of the Opera 6). Brighter Than a Thousand Suns 7). These Colours Don't Run 8). The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg 9). Paschendale 10). Dance of Death 11). Rime of...

What if Adrian played/wrote some of Janick's solos?

I recently saw this amazing video on Youtube, so I decided to create this thread, I would like to know what you guys think about the video, and I would also like to know if you agree that Adrian could play some of Jan's solos live (especially the melodic ones, which are few). Well we know that...

And they also wrote that the Ibanez Destroyer is “Sunburst”. Maybe they confused it with Dave’s Destroyer, which was sunburst, Adrian’s is clearly Candy Apple Red.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

That’s not the same acoustic guitar from DOD tour, the Taylor from DOD tour had a pickguard and dot inlays, I think the one from Smith/Kotzen is a 914ce, the one from DOD tour is a 414ce Edit: Sorry, I just realized that you were talking about the Hummingbird and not the Taylor.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Thank you for replying, by the way, do you know if this is a Charvel? Some people say it is a Jackson soloist with dot inlays but It seems to me that the guitar is a Charvel Predator, the color is a darker white (if it was a Jackson I don’t think it would have had that color) and it’s got dot...
