I actually like the production a lot more than TFF. I don't really get where you're getting the "disoriented production" from. It sounds nice and punchy to me, a far cry from the limp, damp production of TFF.

So, how do you feel about TBOS?

Good advice. Seems as though it's only a couple of people bashing the album, while the rest of us seem to think it's pretty great. Ok, that's a pure troll comment.

Actually it's sounding a lot more cohesive upon a second listen. And no, you may not choose for me.

Still trying to decide whether I think Empire of the Clouds is a masterpiece of a mishmash of cool ideas. That's definitely a song that's going to take multiple listen to gauge properly. The beginning almost made me cry, though.

From what I've observed, I don't think that's 100% accurate, as I don't think there's a person here who doesn't love classic era Maiden.
