Regarding foreigners in this topic, as a mexican I can say that the fate of gun industry in the US is very important to my country. Do you know how much of the guns the drug cartels have are made and sell LEGALLY in the US? That's part of our problem, as when we were having our "Revolution" in...

    USA Politics

There's a bigger reason guns aren't being banned in the US: Money. The weapon industry pays a lot, and everyone knows rich people are friends with other rich people, as politicians. So there you got, that's why they aren't going to ban the guns, at least in a while.

The J.R.R. Tolkien Topic (publications and adaptations)

Well, I will give my opinion about it. First the good things: . The score was awesome, the main theme is LOTR level as many others. And they followed the book actually very closely, more than the LOTR in fact. Also I loved how they managed the ending, a very good ending for the first movie...

Yesterday I went to watch a movie called "A dangerous method" and saw many ads for the hobbit in the movie theater, but when I asked if there was going to be any mid-night presale for my city (I live in a city that it's important but not so much compared to others in my country) they told me...

Contest: Mom's Maiden Mixtape (nice prize included)

I know ladies that like metal but don't go to metal gigs because, at least here in Mexico, always, always there are douchebags that tend to grab women parts when they get the chance, and it's very diminishing for them and makes them feel bad.

    NOW READING

Just read Battles in the Dessert "Batallas en el Desierto" by José Emilio Pacheco as an assign for mexican and modern literature. Good book that talks about a boy in 40's Mexico City who falls in love with the mom of his best friend, and society demonizes him for it. Good and short book, I...
