If the Red and the Black came on the radio... which I’ve never experienced, I would turn it up. But by Maiden standards, it is .001/ 10. Near the very bottom. That is as close to a compliment I can muster. It is my least favorite song on my least favorite album of the reunion. But it is Maiden.

It’s Gangland. No way to compare for me due to the fact I wore this cassette out on the Walkman back in the day. Not having that drum intro/ song exactly where it goes on the album is unthinkable. As good as Eclipse is, no way it replaces GL.

The growling lyrics I throw on the Pile of “ things in life I can’t understand”. It must be good, who am I to judge, because so many love it. To me the growling makes me want to clear my throat, then ultimately turn off the song. I’ve tried for years to like it. So much great music...
