I agree about blind guardian, but disagree about andre. Last time i saw them he seemed to have a permanent grin on his face just staring into the audience while playing, kind of looked high

There is a video on the iron maiden sub-reddit of simon dawson playing a very jazzy drum solo. There is also the video posted here of him playing genesis, and he even played in a groove metal band. He is clearly a very versatile and talented drummer, so let's trust the maiden boys on this one.

I predict they will record a new album very soon - when Nicko is still in touring form for the drums.
