Like you guys, I snuck in some views from YouTube clips from across the tour to get an idea of how the band sounded prior to my show. YouTube compresses the shite out of music but that said, the Forum show was SO much more dynamic than anything I've heard online. And I'm not trying to say "MY...
Attended the LA Kia Forum show on Tuesday. I go back to 1982-83 with Maiden; my first IM show was the Powerslave tour in 1985.
I'm not going to bother with a review but to say that it was a phenomenal show and based upon that performance, they're not going anywhere anytime soon. Granted, they...
I was in attendance at the Observatory show Monday night. POWERFUL set is how I'd describe it. That band is phenomenal and given they're only three performances in, they're not even fully locked in yet. Ex; Tanya fucked up during "DOA" a couple of times. There were a couple of flubs but its live...
I'm in for LA at the Kia Forum. Thankfully its minutes from my house so I don't have to travel.
I want to see more than one show on this tour and considered San Diego and Vegas but I'm going to wait until next year closer to the gig. If they add another Forum show I may do that.
Ticketmaster...
Steve already stated that it wouldn't make sense for the band to play the same three tracks from the current LOTB tour, so they're performing previously unplayed songs from "Senjutsu."

I'm at Banc of California stadium for the Los Angeles show. Gorgeous venue near downtown. The Raven Age hit promptly at 6:55pm on schedule. The sound is crystal clear but too loud, and I'm seated behind mid-field. Hoping for a great mix for Maiden's set.
They were having a lot of fun. Bruce used the noose on "HBTN" to "help" Nicko out on cymbals during one of the drum breaks...in time, too! He pulled off one of Jan's shoes during his solo on "BB" and Jan didn't miss a note...you try playing a guitar solo perfectly on one leg! The Three Amigos...
The show ends with "Wasted Years." It can be such a clusterfuck exiting The Forum I'm sure some folks, like me, began their mad dash for the doors as soon as Bruce said "Thank you, good night!"
Can't overstate how strong is this set list. The band are at an age where they could easily toss off a shorter set with easier songs, but no. This show is intense. Zero filler. I don't know how they do it but they still put their all into songs like "Iron Maiden" and "The Trooper," making them...
Fantastic concert. The lads were in great form tonight. All of the regular platitudes apply so I won't rehash what everyone's already heard. No changes to the set list as of yet. The one song that still doesn't quite fit remains "Death Or Glory." "TOAC," perhaps even more surprisingly is...
I wasn't happy with the sound at Mandalay Bay and I was seated directly behind the sound pit, which is usually a prime position. Couldn't tell if it was the venue's acoustics or something else. I'll be at the Forum for tonight's show and will have a better idea because I've seen a few shows...
Any pro sound guys here...I'm getting a sense that there's been some fall-off in quality between former FOH sound engineer Doug Hall and current sound man Martin Walker. Yea or nay?
Love Jan's solo on it and how it builds in intensity. Not my favorite Maiden song either but I don't want it replaced in the current set. Especially given the current social climate, I appreciate Bruce's comments when introducing the song even more.
I've looked back at several older Maiden performances over the years. To my ear, not only hasn't Bruce lost anything...he actually sounds better than ever IMO.
