They did 3 nights in Italy in 2016 and in 2018 as well so they do seem to sometimes make the arrangement that when they're headlining a festival it isn't always their exclusive appearance for the year there. 2018 started end of May and ran until mid August so who knows maybe we will get dates...

My guess is Hellfest + 2 nights in Paris Then beginning of the tour at end of May Central Europe (2 or 3 of: Austria, Czechia, Hungary, Croatia etc.) + Greece (and hopefully Bulgaria or Romania). *Exception could be they stay on and play Sziget in Hungary the weekend after Wacken? Also...

I think we, the fans, are as much to blame as the band/management for not doing many of the things we want but 'think they couldn't afford' because they can not spend the money on those things, and we all just buy tickets a year in advance anyway!

I would say it largely depends on whenever more European festivals announcing Iron Maiden as their headliners. I know the band's plan was to play more indoor shows for this tour, but they would have been booked in to headline some festivals more than 2 years in advance, which COVID then messed...

I would be surprised if it isn't 5 songs from each. They love putting hints in promo material, there are no coincidences when it comes to Iron Maiden announcements, it really encourages my tinfoil-hat-wearing tendencies.

The AC/DC setlists with Axl Rose were awesome too, brought back songs like Live Wire which hadn't been played in decades.

Fingers crossed for a more stripped down set for this tour. Somewhere in Time stageset that remains on stage for most of the gig, then just rolling posters for TWOTW and the Senjutsu songs. The flamethrower during Icarus and flag and costume for The Trooper is cool but I can live without Bruce...

Nope sorry! Didn't think it would be pulled, assumed the tour had been announced this morning.

I quoted the whole thing above anyway. Only other pieces of information were that Dublin is on the 24th of June 2023 and tickets starting from €85.50. The 02 London listing with the image has also been stripped.
