Yeah "More Tea Vicar" and "Pass the Jam" were just the guys messing around.... There are some poor B-sides covers which Maiden have done; I was never a fan of Maiden covering other bands material...

Got my copy of Metal Hammer this morning. Cool lenticular cover and loads of interviews with the band. There are some nice graphics and Mayan glyphs which point to what the stage set might look like..

Nicko is a Christian... He had a religious experience years ago and was born again. I don't think H is a Christian though.

I really like the subject matter and general feel of this song. 9/10.....

My second favourite song off the album after the title track... Adrian's intro is mesmeric and the lyrics are really well penned. 10/10

I really wish Maiden had released SOL as a physical single... I'm a collector so always enjoyed getting the various formats of Maiden's single releases...

SSOASS is a 10/10 Maiden album... Every song on it is immense.

They had taken the SSOASS and SIT sound as far as it could go. I honestly think they just wanted to try something different.. Sadly we got the second worst Maiden album.....

2M2M is one of my least favourite Maiden songs.... I would rate it 4/10.....

Conjecture....There are progressive elements as far back as their debut album of course. Then obviously on SIT and SSOASS more progressive leanings developed until they went back to basics again on NPFTD. However it wasn't until the X-Factor that on some songs progressiveness became the...
