They would have actually had to use a proper encyclopedia as well. They didn't have Wikipedia in those days. Not sure when the internet was invented though. Might have been 1987:-/

I personally don't think it will be their last album. From what the guys in the band have been saying I sort of get the feeling that they have one more album in them... Here's hoping anyway.

There are some great tracks on it. Holy Smoke, BYDTTS, the title track and Tailgunner are some of my favourite Maiden songs. I actually have 3 different versions of the album. Cassette tape, picture disc vinyl and CD. Anyway back on topic (TBOS). Just 4 more days until release. It's getting...

Love the intro to Mother Russia. Also like TAATG, From Here to Eternity, Holy Smoke and BYDTTS.

That's (NPFTD) one of their poorest albums. It's hard to make an argument for that album having more than 4 or 5 decent songs.

The popmatters review is pretty cool. Another positive review which seems objective as well. I believe there has yet to be a negative assessment of the TBOS.:-)

I'm going to search every music shop in town on Friday until I finally get TBOS:-) Then I am going to listen to it for a few hours and hopefully it's as good as most people say it is. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Yeah, Ewan McGregor (Obi Wan-young) said it was terrible having to act against a green screen and basically talk to thin air. I'm not a fan of his but he was right.

Wow, 20 pages since last night when I last checked. Some great reviews and the usual general griping. The 4th can't come around quickly enough until I can finally listen to it. The songs I am most looking forward to hearing are... DOG/EOTC/TRATB/IESF:-) Oh and BOS.

Sound quality is another reason to wait until it is released on CD/Vinyl... I will be listening to it on CD through Boss CDR system via amp... Crazy amount of power and very high sound quality. Worth the wait by the sound of it:)

From what I have seen they have intentionally tried to move away from the vibe engendered in 1, 2 and 3. The Phantom Menace has to be one of the most disappointing movies of all time. Jar Jar is horrendous.

A lot of the reviews had stated that as well.. There seems to be a parity or correlation between the reviews and the general feel from those who have heard the album from the forum i.e. It's pretty amazing.
