I was a bitdisappointed in The Future Past Tour (production and sound wise), so I'm more than excited for this tour.

Funny that this is coming from the only person who keeps bringing them in.

I'm pretty sure they will play Europe next year. Not as extensively but I would say a couple of stadiums here and there + all the major festivals. Easy money.

Not sure they will ever catch up with Metallica in the US. Not even Rammstein could. Next year Maiden will play the usual venues as always

Like Metallica thought they could sell out 2 stadiums per weekend and they've ended up selling almost less than Maiden? Metallica is bigger all over the world, but Maiden is catching up quickly.

Like a 90% sold out tour could be a miss.

Metallica would play there if the offer is good and they call them. Simple as that. No management in the world would turn down easy money. They recently played Copenhell, which is far smaller than Sweden Rock. Also, Maiden is playing to a combined amount of 80k people in Stockholm.

So you're saying that Maiden is selling out stadiums without the help of awards or mainstream media? If so, it would mean that Maiden is much more appreciated and well known than the other bands since they don't need promotion to sell tickets or albums. Bravo, Rod!

It means nothing. Metallica could play there as well, it just never happened (yet). Same with Wacken in the past decade, and Maiden is doing better than Metallica in Germany at the moment.

How does a sold out stadium tour fit in your logic?

They still use backdrops instead of led screens (at least, I hope so), for example. That alone is much more elaborated, especially for the lightning department.
