    Invaders

What what?! I'm up. Let's go! O Bruce! Where have you been! This guy Paul was on the last two albums and he was mainly good, but yeah. He's not you. Belt it loud and proud. Invadaaahs! It's in your face and taking no prisoners. This song is as good of an album intro as you can get and it's...
  2. 22 The Avenue

    Drifter

Wow, if there's one thing to remember from the Di'Anno era, it's that both albums ended with such so-so, at best, songs. That's not how albums should end. You need to come away saying, WOW. There is a good solo in this one though. Two filler tracks to end the album. Possibly four filler songs...
  3. 22 The Avenue

    Twilight Zone

One of the weaker songs on this album. It doesn't do much to differentiate itself from most of the other songs thus far by IM. This is a perfect example of a filler song. 5/10
  4. 22 The Avenue

    Purgatory

Wow i've been woken back up. Maybe I need coffee. This is actually a fairly fun song on an album that feels like the B-sides to the self-titled debut album. It's catchy though and I like that. This is probably the last decent song on the album, as I recall the final two tracks never sticking out...

    Prodigal Son

Killers has reinvigorated me! What's next.... zzzzzz. A good guitar solo but the songs slow pace is a buzz kill after the prior song gave you false hope that the album would pick back up. Paul's vocals aren't his best either. Very soporific. Only an okay song. 6/10
  6. 22 The Avenue

    Killers

Okay i'll lay off the barrage for now. This is a good song and thank goodness because the title track is always supposed to be good. This song has managed to wake me back up from that prior three song stupor I was in. Excellent guitar solo, Paul at some of his best. 9/10
  7. 22 The Avenue

    Innocent Exile

Just as forgettable as "Another Life" was. I agree that this album has poor lyrics in most of the songs. The guitar solo in this song saved it from a lower score. 5/10
  8. 22 The Avenue

    Genghis Khan

okay an instrumental. I like those. the only problem is that this is the worst of the instrumentals thus far through the first three albums. It's still decent and I like the howling guitars around the 2:20 mark. 7/10
  9. 22 The Avenue

    Another Life

Here's where the album falls flat on it's face and never really gets back up. It's okay, at best. I'd fall asleep if they played this song live. 5/10
  10. 22 The Avenue

    Murders in the Rue Morgue

The last of the three great songs to start the album. It was a promising start. Very catchy and another strong song to follow wrathchild. I wouldn't mind seeing this one live either. 9/10
  11. 22 The Avenue

    Wrathchild

The best song on the album. Very fun and in your face. I love it. I would love to see this live as the first song of the set following Ides of March. 10/10
  12. 22 The Avenue

    The Ides of March

Another great instrumental and to start an album nonetheless. The first three songs are the best of the album. Here we go! 9/10
  13. 22 The Avenue

    Iron Maiden

I've seen this song on two of the live shows that have aired on Palladia. It is okay and I feel an obligation to like it more than I do because they were bold enough to name a song after their band, on their debut self-titled album. Who does that? I don't know if I've seen it anywhere else haha...
  14. 22 The Avenue

    Charlotte the Harlot

Oh man! Why'd this song have to wake me up from that bliss? Well, at least it's a catchy song that is bringing us back to earlier in the album with the punk feel. I like that this Charlotte the Harlot character is continued in a later album, NOTB's 22 Acacia Avenue. I have a fondness for...

    Strange World

For some reason, this reminds me of a Pink Floyd song and that's not a bad thing. The dreamworld is still going for me and i'm being lead by Eddie and his guitar. Excellent singing by Di'Anno as we complete these three excellent songs. I love when albums keep the greatness going for so many...
