Could it be that all "professional" reviewers are paid to give excellent opinions, but they silence the fans who listened to it because they don't want anything that could harm album sales out there? Just a thought...

Personally I'm quite happy that there's such divided opinion among fans as to which are their best albums/songs. Makes for more interesting points of views, and I see it as a testament of the band's diversity and quality. I for one tend to change opinion to and fro on many songs and albums...

So, where does this fit into all of this? Fans Editing out a few minutes from a song is "heresy" but the Artist including a few minutes into a song that aren't actually aren't their original Music without crediting the original artist isn't?

Either way, I'm sure they wouldn't just tell Martin Birch to change it or hire someone else. Too much respect for him. Which was good. Birch knew his business, and I'm sure if he suggested Changes in the songs, they were all for the better. Whereas Shirley probably doesn't suggest much at...

No, why? I Think I am quite misunderstood by many. I actually enjoy a lot of Maiden's recent work, my main problem was with the AMOLAD album, and even more so the tour. I thought BNW was quite good throughout, DOD had some brilliant tunes although also some weak ones, a very uneven...

It's getting damned bad, after 5 years I could sure do with some new Maiden, and the Reviews sound very promising, I have a strong hunch it'll be a good album.

Loved The X Factor, his singing wasn't Always 100 % but his voice suited it well and he was mostly brilliant on that album, like Sign Of The Cross, Lord Of The Flies, The Edge Of Darkness, Unbeliever, Blood On The Worlds Hands, Aftermath. VXI he was better mixed and again did a good performance...

It IS solid in the sense that no song really falls below average, nor rises above it. So I guess you can say it's solid, but I hate albums that just flow on without any songs jumping out to grab you.

For what? For disliking Lord Of Light/AMOLAD?

Underrated?? More like overrated, like all of that 'kin album...

Awesome song, this and Transylvania are tied for their best instrumental.
