Well....I didn't quite like that description of the "crash"....it sounds like they just tried to make as much noise and mess as they could?.... I hopefully got it wrong though.
Damn, that's disappointing to hear Foro, I had expected this to be a highlight of the album :( Well, can still be....a lot of reviewers gave it more praise than you, for sure.
Yeah, well....this is deep and all, but doesn't really matter to me. I'm not interested in whatever views Maiden have on religion etc... unless there is good music to back it up. In my opinion, AMOLAD's music stinks, and no "deep meanings" can save it. They could have written an essay about...
It also fits well with the descriptions in the reviews of the ending of IESF, demonic voices etc... My bet would is that the leaked 2 minutes are of the later part of the song , leading up to the acoustic outro...
Pretty sure it's not, I've heard most Bruce's solo stuff and I don't recognise it. Also, it really does sound like a recording session rather than a finished mix, so I'm quite intrigued...
So, anyone else heard what claims to be the "leaked recording session"? Sounds like Bruce on there for sure, but what song could it be? My guess would be If Eternity Should fail, given that it's legit....
Not really, I'd rather say I'm less pleased with some of them. Actually the songs I usually get the most pissed off about aren't necessarily the worst, but tend to be songs that I find average, that could have been very good with some adjustments.
It's a similar process as when they constructed the hype before AMOLAD, that was designed beforehand to be brainwashed into everybody's mind as a "masterpiece", "their best ever" etc...
Wouldn't surprise me much actually, seeing as of late they've been obsessed (especially Bruce) with the idea of making songs that sound as different from the classic Maiden sound as possible. Just to prove they can.
I don't think that either, which is why I find it extremely stupid, not to mention downright disrespectful to us who want to know more about the album.
