Can anyone explain when - whatever local time - IM takes the stage and ends the show? I have to figure out a tricky mass transit situation and these details will be important. Thanks in advance. p.s.- I’ll be going to the November 9th show in Newark.

Futureal is my favorite 90s IM song followed by, roughly in order: Clansman / Educated Fool / Judgement of Heaven/ Lightning Strikes Twice.

That accurately describes my point of view as well. The other album being Fear of the Dark in my case.

My first and's still favorite IM album! After 7th Son my music interests shifted and I stopped listening to them for many years but Somewhere in Time never left my rotation .

I’m going to see them in November- my last IM show was 38 years ago in 1986 - and I’d rather see a less than 100% Nicko than any replacement. I’ve already seen sad replacements in concert for Keith Moon and John Bonham. Fortunately Rush had the dignity not to do a post-Peart travesty.

I know that Futureal is my favorite 90s song. Not sure it’s top 20 though but very close. I’d add Rainmaker as another brilliant short song p.s. - I'd swap in Clairvoyant over OTGDY as my poop pants song.

I enjoy Prodigal Son when listening to the album but no offense intended I think it would be a snore live. And considering that every tour now could be their last there’s a bunch of other unplayed songs I’d rather hear considering the limited playlist space (Starblind! Montsegur!)

I would have liked to have voted in this but it would have been unfair since I stopped listening to Metallica in the 90s so I didn't vote. Having said that, Ride the Lightning is my favorite Metallica album.

Don’t know the reason, but it was the same in 2022. I had tickets for Newark but couldn’t make it due to family stuff but they did both ERW and Brooklyn but not MSG last time too.

Looking forward to see what if any set list changes are in store. Hopefully not many. Somewhere in Time is what got me into the band when it was released and remains my favorite album by them. I've only seen IM once in concert before that was 1986 during SIT tour when I was a 15 year old kid but...

Some of the most fun times of my life were as a teenager at Ramones concerts in the 1980s. Even did a stage dive once.

This will be a very unpopular opinion, but for me it’s AMOLAD. While I appreciate the high level of musical expertise, overall the mood is just too relentlessly miserably dark and depressing for my taste.
