No one can be happy about every ranking in a contest like this, because it's a bunch of people who have different opinions. That said, yes I am satisfied because it was a fair contest where everyone had their opportunity to vote. And my favorite album won. Kick arse.

Great to see some love for Somewhere in Time. It's the album that got me into the band in the 80s and remains my favorite by them to this day. Also that tour was the only time I saw them in concert which is an issue I look forward to correcting at some point.

That muppet looks like a guy I used to buy weed from in college in the early 90s, his nickname was Spent Kent. I always thought Spent Kent was a great name for a Weed Guy.

Somewhere in Time is the album that got me into Maiden during the 80s and the only one that never left my rotation when I drifted away from the band for decades. When the COVID lockdowns started I was using it as my exercise music, and that's what inspired me to look back into their entire catalog.

I had assumed this would come down to a Powerslave - 7th Son final matchup. Happy to see my favorite Somewhere in Time sticking around for another round.

Somewhere in Time is my favorite IM album. I love all eight songs. I’m not gonna be whingey just because albums that I enjoy like Dance of Death got bounced from this vote. Everyone has the right to their own opinion. Tonight I’ll listen to Ilse of Avalon and Starblind appreciate genius.

No offense intended to AMALOD fans, but I'm pleased with this result. It is my least favorite reunion album. Plus my favorite IM album Somewhere in Time survived after coming dangerously close to being knocked out.

I don't really like Lost In A Lost World, but I think it has a lovely intro. Also Great Unknown and especially(!) Hell on Earth. Two Minutes to Midnight comes in like a beautiful sledgehammer. The Clairvoyant glides in like beautiful silk.

AMOLAD & BNW. I do very much like BNW but not as much as the others remaining. AMOLAD I just never got into at all. I listen to it again about once a year to see if my opinion has changed, but that has not happened.

I rarely listed to Disc 2 of TBOS, when I do it is mostly to hear Shadows of the Valley. However for me Senjutsu is the opposite, I listen to Disc 2 far more often.
